Cornell University Professor Kathryn A. LaTour and I presented findings from our joint research work based on Quini data on millennials and Gen Z interest in wine, at the 3rd Annual Wine & Hospitality Workshop last week.
The small group conference was put together by Cornell University and held at the Cornell SC Johnson Campus in NYC.
The session and information were well received, with the findings indicating that younger consumers do show interest in wine and partake in deep analysis of wine, like the older Gen X and Boomer groups, given the right environment and tech tools.
Here are some of the data findings, previously published here on QUINI BLOG.
The group even got to do a wine tasting using Quini, to experience the speed and ease of how deep, rich wine sensory and attitudinal consumer data can now be captured and turned into actionable insight in near real-time.
Professors, researchers, academics and thought leaders from the United States, France, Germany, Italy, Hungary, Australia, Spain, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Canada and China participated and shared equally compelling papers.
